Life Given You Lemons Instead Of Lemonade?
Do you feel insecure, anxious and doubtful about your life. Does it feel like you have more adversity in your life than others. It seems as if others are having an easier time at things and you start feeling sorry for yourself. You ask, why can’t things ever go right for me? Why me is the question you ask.
Life and Lemons
Why has life given you lemons instead of lemonade? I am sure we all have had those moments of doubt about where our lives area headed. The obstacles we must overcome seem insurmountable. We live in a society that is obsessed with ME ME ME and little compassion. When those moments arise, we have no one to turn to and sometimes lack the safety net we long for to support us in our time of need.
It is time for you to take back your life and make lemonade for yourselves. Let me tell you a story about my life as a young mother who found herself in an untenable situation and how I made lemonade out of lemons.
Being a Young Mother
As a young adult, I became a teen mother living in an unhealthy domestic situation that would change the trajectory of my life. Was this the life I had planned for myself no, but I hung on to hope that I had made the right choice. Eventually, I made it out to the other side and had to make plans to rebuild my life. As time progressed I learned I had a knack for upholstery which helped soothe me in my time of need and also helped me learn a new life skill.

Life Skills Why Are They Important?
Life skills are so important and you need them to use in your everyday life. The development of life skills helps you to find new ways of thinking and solving problems and help you come up with solutions. They also teach you the ability to take charge of a situation without relying on upon others to solve your problems for you. Life skills build confidence in spoken skills and help you in collaborations with others and gain confidence in developing cooperation with others. Along with those things mentioned, you gain critical thinking skills and develop emotional skills that are important in this aspect because it helps you to deal with stressful situations. To sum it up, you take lemons life has given you and make lemonade.
How Do We Problem Solve Life Giving Us Lemons and Instead of Lemonade
How many times have we found ourselves trying to figure out a solution and we hit a brick wall. So you begin to look for answers to us get through our blocks. The idea of being able to work through problems is a skill all on its own.

Critical thinking
Problem solving
Mathematical skill
These are skills we use in our everyday life and take for granite. You never thought about making a budget for buying groceries, planning and meal prep as part of the equation. However, in conclusion, life skills are very important to our survival and how we show up.
